About John G Fraser

A Different Kind of Candidate

"Ronald Reagan: 1986 — It seems to me that if we can't convince the liberals in Congress to cut spending, maybe we should cut the number of liberals in the Congress. For all their talk about the deficit, the liberal Democrats in Congress have not been able to control their big spending ways. We don't have deficits because you're undertaxed; we have deficits because Congress overspends."

The incumbent has voted like a liberal spender. I will not.

I hauled bales, walked beans, and worked construction as a young man. I know what physical work demands and what it teaches. I went on to become a CPA and earned a Masters in Applied Economics.

My youth years were spent in Jefferson City during the summer months in the early 1980's, and I moved to Missouri permanently in 1987. I spent a lot of time hunting pheasants and quail in my youth. Now I enjoy outdoor sports such as triathlons, trail running, and gravel biking.

I am nearly retired. I am not running for the next rung on a political ladder. I have no ambition beyond this one thing: to represent the people of Missouri's 3rd Congressional District the way they deserve to be represented — honestly, independently, and without apology.

I am running because Missouri's farmers, small business owners, and working families deserve a congressman who puts their interests first — every vote, every time, without exception. That is what I intend to be.
